Day 3 – Meditation

This takes practice.

There are loads of different ways to meditate and different theories too. I have a chair in my bedroom, I’ve had it for over 16 years. It’s covered with a bright yellow blanket. I meditate sitting in the chair, eyes closed, hands on lap. Noticing thoughts, not engaging with them, moving them aside! Taking my awareness back to my breath when a stubborn thought hangs around too long!

I feel calm, grounded and lighter after meditating. I want to get better at doing this daily because I know how amazing it can make me feel, even just 10 minutes a day.

It’s a skill worth persevering with!
