You spend a lot of time in your own head thinking the worst. Sometimes it just comes from nowhere – mostly it comes from nowhere. You can be doing the most unassuming thing and suddenly it’s there. Then it becomes all consuming. You are there but not really there. You do your jobs, you function, respond, listen, but not really listening. You talk to it; tell it to do one! Then you remember – accept it, allow it and it will go, breathe. Use all your techniques, but it doesn’t always go.
No one really gets it, unless they’ve been there. It’s a hard one to explain; heart beating out of your chest, tingling, pain, trouble swallowing, fear, irrational fear. But it’s not irrational when you are going through it because the symptoms are there. What if? It’s not though, it’s just your head. But it could be. It’s not.
